One in 7 of us are unemployed. We don’t need to be told that Ireland’s economy is in crisis. Join the Local Heroes Campaign and you could help turn things around. Just one simple action by you could help kick-start recovery – enough small changes at local level will have a national effect.
Towns around Ireland are being inspired by the actions of Drogheda’s citizens in the TV series ‘Local Heroes – A Town Fights Back’. Clifden and Kells are setting up their own Local Heroes Groups to help create jobs.

- Register on The Local Heroes list of participating businesses so that customers can see you’re rewarding them with special offers.
- Download the Business Coupon Kit explaining the deal, which runs until 18 December.
- Display the Local Heroes Coupon poster and offer discounts or promotions on products and services that support local jobs.
